Reporting & data

An ESG figure is only worth something if you can defend it. Every indicator has its source, its owner and its collection date, and your report is built on that basis.

From spreadsheet to reporting cycle

In many organisations, data collection still means spreadsheets sent by email at year end. We organise the reporting cycle and, where it helps, the tools that make it a routine.

What we
do.

  1. Sustainability report

Design and drafting of a clear, readable report for your stakeholders and funders.

  2. Indicator framework

Definitions, sources, calculation methods and owners.

  3. Standards readiness

GRI, IFRS S1 and S2, and the other frameworks that matter in your markets.

  4. Collection and quality control

Consolidation, consistency checks, evidence protocols and traceability.

  5. ESG dashboards

Indicators updated during the financial year, for leadership and committees.

  6. Digital data collection

ESG databases, automated consolidation, specifications and software selection.

  7. Data governance

Data dictionary, reporting calendar, who does what.

  8. Communications review

A critical reading of your non-financial publications before they go out.

What you
keep.

  • A sustainability report
  • An indicator framework and data dictionary
  • An ESG dashboard
  • A reporting calendar and a collection procedure
  • An evidence file for an external review

Who it is for

Companies facing a reporting obligation or request, financial institutions, subsidiaries of international groups, and finance, CSR and IT departments.

How the engagement runs

  1. Taking stock. Inventory of existing data, its sources and the people who produce it.

  2. The plan. Choice of framework, definition of the indicators, calendar.

  3. Steering. First collection cycle run alongside your team, checks, drafting of the report.

  4. Handover. Written procedures and tools handed over; your team runs the next cycle.

Please note

We prepare your report for external assurance. The assurance itself is the role of a licensed professional, with whom we work when the engagement calls for it.

Common questions

All questions
GRI or IFRS S1 and S2: which framework should we choose?

The one your readers use. IFRS S1 and S2 are aimed at investors and lenders; GRI addresses all stakeholders. A single indicator framework can feed both.

Do we need ESG software?

Not necessarily. A well-structured spreadsheet is often enough for the first cycle. As volumes grow, we write the specifications and help you choose the right tool.
