The firm

A consulting firm,
based in Abidjan.

A pair of balance scales, a symbol of the balance between decisions and responsibilities.

One team,
from strategy to data.

ERGILYS is a management and ESG consulting firm. We work with companies, financial institutions, public bodies and development organisations.

A strategic plan without reliable data does not hold for long, and nor does a carbon footprint without governance. That is why a single team runs each engagement, working from the same data.

We stay until
decisions rest
on the figures.

After the diagnostic and the plan, the team stays with you through the first months of implementation, until the dashboards are reviewed in committee and your own people have taken them over.

Vision

To be the firm West African organisations call when a bank, a funder or a board asks for figures on the transition.

Mission

To help organisations measure, manage and reduce their environmental and social impacts, on the ground and with recognised methods.

How an engagement
unfolds.

  1. Taking stock

We start with what already exists: data, processes, obligations, what your funders expect. A maturity assessment, and interviews with the teams involved. Nothing is written before that.

  2. The plan

Priorities, owners, timeline, and the indicators that will show whether things are moving. Management makes the calls; we do the drafting.

  3. Steering

We stay for the first months of implementation. The dashboards run, the committees meet, and gaps come to light early.

  4. The handover

Then we step back. Your teams have been trained along the way, every indicator is documented, and the exercise can be repeated the following year without us.

What we do not do

Work that requires accreditation goes to those who hold it.

Statutory audit, legal certification, and regulated legal or financial activities fall outside ERGILYS’s remit. When an engagement needs them, we work with an accredited professional, and the contract says so.

Who we work with

Specialists join from the scoping stage.

Some engagements call for an audit firm, a lawyer, a specialist engineer or a financial institution. We bring them in from the outset, and you keep a single point of contact.

Eight countries,
one currency.

Benin, Burkina Faso, Côte d’Ivoire, Guinea-Bissau, Mali, Niger, Senegal and Togo share the CFA franc and the same central bank, the BCEAO. We work across all eight from Abidjan, and will extend our reach to the CEMAC region and East Africa over time.
